Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using recall, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of recall, including free, pro, and team plan subscribers.

2. Description of service

recall is a cloud-synced command vault that allows developers to save, organize, and run shell commands across machines. The service includes a CLI binary, web dashboard, VS Code extension, and API. Features vary by plan.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@devkitvault.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use recall to store or execute commands that are malicious, illegal, or harmful to others. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond normal usage. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Plans and billing

Free plan features are provided at no cost. Pro and Team plans are billed monthly or annually through Lemon Squeezy. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@devkitvault.com within 7 days of a charge.

6. Data and privacy

Your commands, templates, snippets, and other vault data are stored securely on our servers. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Limitation of liability

recall and devkitvault are provided as-is. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including data loss or command execution errors.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
